Based on the Early Years & Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) and as a Reggio Emilia approach nursery, we provide an integrated early years program. Willow Childrens Nursery is committed to providing parents with the very best start for their children. As a UK based nursery, we constantly strive to develop new and innovative ideas. We work closely with a variety of UK based Early Years Establishments to ensure that we are constantly aware of current requirements and policies. Willow Nursery (Umm Suqeim) and Willow Nursery (Dubai Marina) provide a warm, safe nurturing environment in which children grow and develop. Honouring children as an individual and embracing them in a loving environment, cultivates a child who is confident and insightful. Young children learn through experiences, imitation and by being actively involved in their own world. At Willow Childrens Nursery, a child’s natural sense of awe and wonderment about the world around them is nurtured through art, movement, story, and language. The nursery’s play-based constructivist curriculum encourages children to express and build meaning through their experiences. Our nursery provides unwavering stability through our well-qualified and experienced teachers who take time to know you and your child. Our practitioners continually update their professional qualifications ensuring that they are always providing the ‘Best Practice’ for our children. We promote the social, cognitive, physical, emotional, and spiritual development of each child. Willow Childrens Nursery is located in a large building that is specifically modified to offer children the benefit of natural light and space. As an Organic Nursery, we provide outdoor play-scapes including a sand area, swimming pool, large shaded lawns, climbing equipment and gardens that encompass a variety of natural textures as well as specifically designed areas that stimulate a child’s natural curiosity about the world around them. We believe that the outside is an extension of the classroom and as such, our outdoor areas play a significant role in our children’s learning. We are told time and time again that the nursery evokes a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, which comes naturally - an indication of contented children. Parents are their children’s first teachers and as such play the most important role in their early development. We respect and welcome all parents and empower them to work alongside us to monitor and be part of their child’s first important stages of Early Years Education. We believe each and every child is special and our practitioners ensure that every child’s needs are being met through high-quality play that is tailored to them, so that they develop at their own pace, having fun and learning as they play.

Our team of early years education nursery practitioners at Willow Childrens Nursery (Dubai) form the core of our success. Therefore, we invest in providing continual professional development for all staff members, which will give your child a very warm and welcoming nursery experience. As a UK based nursery, our teachers are predominantly from the UK. We also have teachers who originate from Australia and South Africa. They all possess a UK Early Years Education qualification and all have several years of experience in their field. Our Assistant Teachers are also either from the UK or from Europe. They also hold the relevant qualifications to work with young children. Nursery Assistants are from either the Philippines or Sri Lanka, they too are either nurses or professionals in their own right. We employ a full-time UK qualified nurse & midwife. We are a committed team of professionals who offer "Best Practice" to the children in their care. All staff holds a current First Aid certificate.
