MS.AHANA SHETTY

Ahana is an enthusiastic girl who is always determined towards her goal. She was the subject topper of for maths, french and social studies in her school in grade 7 [2018-2019]. She also received the best buddy award and a scholar badge for her academic performance. Ahana is currently in grade 8th. Her favourite subjects are social, maths , science and french. She enjoys playing football, and find interest in a number of hobbies such as singing, sketching, reading etc. Volunteering experiences: I volunteered for the musical “L’amour Enchante” in the robotics department. I volunteer to host for the chrysalis competition held in our school in the year 2015-2016. I volunteered to help my fellow mates in the Buddy programme I volunteered to collect news papers, plastic bottles and mobile phones. I volunteered to be a part of the global innovation challenge (GIC) I also volunteered to teach moral instructions in the year 2015 – 2016. LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCES Aquarius house captain grade 4 year 2015 – 2016 I have definitely learned a lot by being the Aquarius house captain of primary school as I was given many tasks which required me to showcase my leadership skills. Eco advocate Being the eco advocate of my class in grade 4 has enabled me to think more about our environment and has given me more opportunities to showcase my love towards nature. Council member 2017- 2018 (grade 6) & 2018 – 2019 (grade 7) Being a council member for two consecutive years for two different classes has definitely gotten me to know my batch mates better. Middle school council leader 2019-2020 ( grade 8 ) Presently, I am the council leader of middle school in GOOIS. I am proud to be a part of the prefectorial body and help my school with all my abilities. This has been a great achievement, I will definitely carry out my duties properly.
