Anupama Nair is a grade 12 student at the Indian High School, Dubai.

She scored 96.8% in the AISSCE (CBSE Grade 10 examination) with a 100 in Math, in Social Science and in FIT, and a 98 in Science.

She also wrote several olympiad exams. At the zonal level, she ranked 3rd in the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad 2020-2021, 6th in the SOF National Science Olympiad 2018-2019, and 5th in the SOF National Cyber Olympiad 2018-2019.

She also ranked 4th in UAE in the English Olympiad Qualifier Round 2, 6th in the Physics Olympiad Qualifier Round 2, 7th in the Mathematics Olympiad Qualifier Round 2 held by the International Olympiad Foundation (IOF) in 2018 - 2019; 3rd in the Science Olympiad Qualifier Round 2, and 5th in the Cyber Olympiad Qualifier Round 2 held by IOF in 2017-2018.

Anupama received the Certificate of Outstanding Performance in ASSET 2017-2018 for Mathematics, Science and English, and scored the highest in Mathematics in the same exam at the national level.

Recently, she also received the first prize in the Mathematics Competition held by the Heriot Watt University in 2021. Her team secured the 1st position in the Math Quiz held during the "Sciscape 2019" event at IHS. She also won the 2nd position in the project competition 'SciMex' as part of "Sciscape 2019". 

She was the Quiz Club Leader in 2018-2019, the Number Experts Club Leader in 2019-2020, and an active participant of the Environment Club at School and the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG). 

Beside academics, she also has actively taken part in extracurricular activities.

Anupama’s team was the only Senior team from the UAE which qualified into the semifinals of the app-building challenge Technovation Girls Challenge in 2019, 2020, and 2021 (still ongoing).

She recently completed the Trinity Grade 8 Electronic Keyboard Practical exam. She had also completed the Trinity Grade 7 Theory of Music exam with Merit.

In addition, she has also learned Karate since an early age. In 2020, she earned the third black belt (Sandan) in Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate and has won several Karate Kata and Kumite competitions as well as in Kubudo.

Being a Bharatanatyam dancer, she has also passed the 'Madhyama Pratham' (4th) level in the Gandharva Exam for Bharatnatyam in 2018 with First Grade.
